OPINION

FOLEY, Judge.

Appellant Coley Gates was convicted of assault in the second degree for shooting two people at a Minneapolis bar. The post-conviction court denied his petition for post-conviction relief based on ineffective assistance of counsel. We reverse and remand for a new trial.
