This case presents the question whether a licensed driver who allowed an unlicensed 14 year old to drive, should be liable for the death of the 14 year old killed due to his own negligence. The licensed driver was 15 years old when he turned his van over to his 14 year old friend to drive. The 14 year old lost control of the van in a one car accident, and was fatally injured.
