CRAIN, Judge.

Freddie Miller, Jr., was charged by bill of information with manslaughter in violation of La.R.S. 14:31(2)(a). He pled not guilty, was tried by jury and convicted as charged. The trial court sentenced him to a ten year term of imprisonment at hard labor to be served consecutively to a sentence he was then serving.
