Peter Louis Carreon (defendant) appeals from the judgment of conviction and sentence for one count of possession of a narcotic drug (cocaine) for sale with a value in excess of $250.00, a class 2 felony. The state also alleged and proved three prior felony convictions. Defendant was found guilty by a jury and was sentenced to the mandatory minimum sentence of 14 years' imprisonment.
