Austin appeals his conviction and sentence for attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He raises two issues on appeal. First, whether the trial court committed reversible error in admitting collateral crime evidence, and, second, whether the trial court erred in sentencing him pursuant to the sentencing guidelines in the absence of an affirmative election.
