Adolph Dammerau was convicted by a Nottoway Circuit Court jury of feloniously burning personal property in a correctional facility while a prisoner, in violation of Code § 53.1-203. At the time of the incident leading to the conviction, Dammerau was incarcerated at the Nottoway Correctional Center.
