In this CPLR article 78 proceeding, the petitioners, the New York Public Interest Group and others (hereinafter referred to as NYPIRG), allege that the respondents, the Governor's Advisory Commission to Make Findings and Recommendations About Problems Relating to Liability Insurance (the Commission), violated the Open Meetings Law (OML) (Public Officers Law § 100 et seq.).
