This appeal arises out of a suit for the wrongful death of an unborn illegitimate child filed by the purported natural father, Edmond Charles, plaintiff, against the defendants, Eastgate Corporation and Eastgate's liability insurer, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.1 A jury awarded the plaintiff $20,000.00 for his damages.
