These consolidated cases arise out of an accident aboard a barge moored alongside a crane platform of a loading facility on the Mississippi River at New Madrid, Missouri. Roger Lewis, a longshoreman employed by the loading facility, Cargill, Inc., was injured when assisting fellow employees in stacking the steel covers of the barge and recovered compensation benefits from his employer under the Longshoremen's &...
