This is a suit for worker's compensation. Plaintiff, Sherman Edwards, filed suit against defendants, Exxon Company, U.S.A. and Petroleum Casualty Company, seeking worker's compensation benefits, penalties, and attorney's fees. After trial on the merits, the trial court rendered judgment in favor of plaintiff, finding that he was entitled to worker's compensation benefits. The court, however, denied plaintiff's request for penalties and attorney's fees...
