Appellant was charged in 1983 with burglary and being an habitual offender. A week later he was charged with a second burglary. He refused an offer of a plea bargain whereby he would plead guilty and be sentenced to ten years imprisonment. He was subsequently tried before a jury on the first burglary charge and convicted.
