The incorporation of the Town of Alexander was granted in 1887 by the County Court of Pulaski County. In 1982, the Town of Alexander, ex parte, petitioned the Circuit Court of Saline County for an order declaring that the town was incorporated in both Saline and Pulaski Counties.
