STATEMENT OF THE CASE:

Defendants, Isidros Lopez and Nivaldo Bueno were charged by grand jury indictment with first degree murder in violation of L.S.A.—R.S. 14:30. Both accused were arraigned and pled not guilty. The trials of the two accused were severed by the court, ex proprio motu. Isidros Lopez the present defendant was tried and found guilty of first degree murder.
