This appeal concerns a contract dispute between father and son. To resolve the dispute we must consider the parol evidence rule and matters pertaining to fraud in the inducement to contract.

Initially, J.E. Robert, Sr., and J.E. Robert, Jr., worked together in a company started by the father and known as J. Robert Co., Inc. of Virginia (Robert of Virginia). By contract dated February 26, 1981, with Marina Associates, Inc., Robert of Virginia...
