Per Curiam.

The central issue in these cases involving claims under the Longshoremen's and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (the Act) (33 USC §§ 901-950) is whether the Joint Maritime Safety Code (the Code), prepared jointly by shippers and the longshoremen's union, has expanded the duties imposed upon shipowners under the Act. We hold that it does not.
