HUSPENI, Judge.

Appellant John Zaycheck seeks review of his sentence, contending that he is entitled to jail credit for time spent in custody prior to sentencing. We reverse.

FACTS

On May 29, 1985, Zaycheck was charged in Ramsey County District Court with receiving stolen property and theft. At that time, he was already incarcerated in Stillwater State Prison for prior convictions in another county. He had a tentative release date...
