We granted certiorari in this case to determine whether Maryland Code (1957, 1979 Repl.Vol.), Art. 48A, § 543(d) precludes the recovery of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Uninsured Motorist (UM) benefits where the claimant has already recovered workmen's compensation benefits in excess of the total amount of PIP and UM coverage available to the claimant under his employer's certificate of self-insurance or under his own personal automobile insurance...
