BAILEY v. HEALTH INS. PLAN OF GREATER NEW YORK

116 A.D.2d 546 (1986)

Tracy Y. Bailey, an Infant, by Her Mother and Natural Guardian, Sharon Bailey, Appellant, et al., Plaintiff, v. Health Insurance Plan of Greater New York et al., Respondents, et al., Defendants

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Second Department.

January 13, 1986

Judgment and order affirmed, insofar as appealed from, with one bill of costs.

Trial Term did not abuse its discretion by limiting re-cross-examination of respondents' expert. An inquiry into the expert's change of opinion in an unrelated case would have created confusion of the issues before the jury (see, People v Schwartzman, 24 N.Y.2d 241, 245; Richardson, Evidence § 491, at 477 [Prince 10th ed]).
