This case involves a personal injury action by plaintiffs, Ruth and Robert Cornforth, involving injuries Ruth sustained when she slipped and fell in a Farmer Jack's Supermarket owned by defendant, Borman's, Inc. At the jury trial, plaintiff Ruth Cornforth, age 50, testified that on Saturday, May 17, 1980, at about 4:30 p.m., her daughter dropped her off at the Farmer Jack's supermarket.
