After being indicted for first degree murder, RSA 630:1-a, the defendant pled guilty to second degree murder, RSA 630:1-b. The Trial Court (Murphy, J.) sentenced him to 35 years to life imprisonment. The sentence review board approved the sentence. The defendant appeals to this court, claiming that his sentence is an abuse of discretion by the trial court, and that it is constitutionally disproportionate under part I, article 18 of the New Hampshire...
