Jason Michael Hetrick, a premature baby delivered by caesarean section, died shortly after birth. As a result of the infant's death, his parents, Jody Ann Hetrick and Michael Cary Hetrick, sought to recover damages from various health care providers, including appellees, Dr. Stanley R. Weimer and Anne Arundel General Hospital. They were unsuccessful both at the Health Claims Arbitration level and at trial before a jury in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel...
