On May 10, 1978, respondents Donald Hughes and Clair Anderson brought suit in Hennepin County District Court against appellant Sinclair Marketing. The district court, pursuant to a jury verdict, rendered judgment for the plaintiffs on July 3, 1984, and denied the appellant's post-trial motions on July 30, 1984.
