OPINION

SEDGWICK, Judge.

Isanti County, on behalf of Judy Edwardh, sought to recover child support and birth expenses from Stephen Swansor nearly one year after his paternity had been adjudicated. The support obligation was based on Minn.Stat. § 518.551 and past support was set at $7,000, payable by $50 a month. Swanson appeals the support order. We affirm in part, reverse in part and remand.
