TERRY, Associate Judge:

Appellants were convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute it, in violation of D.C.Code § 33-541(a)(1) (1985 Supp.).1 Both appellants argue on appeal that the trial court erred in failing to give the jury cautionary instructions regarding the limited admissibility of certain evidence, and that the court abused its discretion by giving the jurors a Winters instruction
