The United States instituted this lawsuit in order to recover federal taxes, penalties and interest assessed against the defendants Howard K. Schnick and Michael W. Sadler for their operation of a book store. Additionally, the United States seeks to obtain a judgment against defendant Cowley Distributing, Inc. ("Cowley") for these same taxes and assessments based on the sale of the bookstore by Schnick and Sadler to Cowley...
