Appellant Boswell was convicted on July 17, 1981, of second-degree burglary, D.C. Code § 22-1801(b) (1981), grand larceny, id. § 22-2201, and destruction of property, id. § 22-403. He was sentenced on September 14, 1981, and thereafter appealed both the convictions and the sentences.
