The defendant appeals from his judgment of conviction, after a trial to a jury, of robbery in the first degree, a violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (4). The sole issue the defendant raises in this appeal is whether the trial court erred by admitting into evidence statements he had made pertaining to the robbery.
