This suit involves a dispute over the ownership of Lot 8 of Square 356 in the town of Franklinton, Louisiana. On April 22, 1983, Murdock Magee and Jeanette Causey Magee (Magees) filed a rule to evict Lucenda Calahan Hinson Watterson (Watterson) from said property.
