A jury found defendant George A. Kern guilty of delivering a controlled substance. See Iowa Code § 204.401(1) (1985). Trial court entered judgment on the verdict, sentenced defendant to a term of imprisonment, fined him $2500, and ordered him to complete 150 hours of community service.
