The plaintiff, West Haven Sound Development Corporation, brought this action against the defendant, city of West Haven, to recover damages for an alleged breach of contract. A jury found for the plaintiff and awarded damages of $3,100,000. The defendant appealed from the judgment rendered on the verdict.
