The plaintiffs filed a petition for relief from final judgment pursuant to section 2-1401 of the Code of Civil Procedure (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 110, par. 2-1401). The defendants filed a motion to dismiss the petition for relief from final judgment, and after a hearing on the defendants' motion to dismiss, the trial court held that the order of December 17, 1984, dismissing the cause...
