This is an appeal and cross appeal from final judgments rendered by the Circuit Court for Baltimore County in an action filed against Exxon Corporation and its employee, Arthur Lent, by Daniel Schoene and his wife, Debora Schoene. In that suit Daniel Schoene claimed compensatory and punitive damages for assault and battery, malicious prosecution, and slander. His wife joined him in a claim for loss of consortium resulting from that alleged tortious...
