C.B. Dodge Company owned some land in Seattle on the shore of Lake Washington. In 1908, the Dodge Company executed a quitclaim deed to a narrow strip of that property which bordered the lake so that the City could construct what is now Lake Washington Boulevard. The deed contained three conditions, one of which is to have the right, for itself and for its successors and assigns, to build and maintain a boathouse along the shore...
