WUEST, Justice.

Appellant William K. Andrews (appellant) was convicted of aggravated assault and appeals. We affirm.

On the evening of March 9, 1985, Ruben McCloskey (McCloskey), an adult male, was severely injured in a fight in the Lakota Homes area of Rapid City, South Dakota. The fight occurred in the front yard of a residence where McCloskey was visiting. A group of adult males appeared at the front of the house around 8:00 p.m. carrying baseball bats...
