The appellant Chamella Brown was arrested at Hartsfield International Airport on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Customs officials found fourteen pounds of marijuana concealed in the sides of her luggage. When arrested, Brown claimed the luggage was hers, but that she knew nothing about the marijuana. At trial, she testified that by this she meant this was the luggage she was carrying, but that she did not...
