The plaintiffs-appellants Lula M. Scher and Martha Jane Chandler, mother and daughter, filed suit to quiet title to a halfmile long, narrow strip of property located along the western edge of property to which their family, the A.J. Squires, had held title for many years. They claim that they have acquired the strip of property by adverse possession.
