Defendant's appeal presents the question of whether the Court of Appeals erred in failing to find error in the trial judge's refusal to instruct on self-defense. The State offered evidence tending to show that on the night of 11 March 1983 Sam Ward was sitting at a table with Loretta Cameron in a disco club called "The Cave." Defendant, a sixteen year old girl, was Ward's former girlfriend and he was the father of her sixteen month old child...
