The plaintiff, John F. Mulhern, seeks to recover attorney's fees and expenses allegedly owed him by the defendant, Martin J. Roach, as a consequence of the plaintiff's successful representation of the defendant in two land damage actions against the Newton Redevelopment Authority (NRA). Those actions were tried twice in the Superior Court, first before a judge without a jury, and second before a jury. See G.L.c...
