Upon his present convictions of robbery in the first degree and assault in the second degree, defendant was sentenced as a second violent felony offender to concurrent prison terms of from 9 to 18 years and 7½ to 15 years, respectively. The prior conviction cited by the sentencing court as a predicate for according defendant second violent felony offender status was for third degree robbery. Third degree robbery, however, is not among those offenses which may be used...
