Respondent determined a deficiency in the 1979 income tax liability of petitioners in the amount of $3,442. After concessions, the issues in dispute are the deductibility of travel expenses in the amount of $9,279 and the sum of $1,200 claimed by petitioners to be alimony payable to George M.
