We reject the defendant's contention that the statements he made during the plea allocutions suggest that he lacked the requisite intent to commit the crimes charged. Although the defendant did not initially recall the details of his sale of heroin to an undercover officer outside his apartment at 789 McDonough Street on January 21, 1981, the record belies any claim that his lapse of memory was attributable to a state of intoxication at the time...
