This is an appeal, after certification, from a judgment of the Appellate Court affirming a sentence of imprisonment imposed by the trial court after a plea of guilty. In his appeal to the Appellate Court, the defendant raised several claims of error related to his sentencing. The Appellate Court unanimously affirmed the judgment of the trial court but was not unanimous in its reasoning concerning one issue and Judge Dupont filed a separate opinion concurring...
