The defendant is appealing from a judgment of conviction after a trial to a jury of the charge of assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-59 (a) (1). He claims as error the court's denial of his motion to suppress testimony and other evidence allegedly acquired through unduly suggestive identification procedures and challenges the court's deferral of his motion in limine by which the defendant sought to exclude the introduction...
