A jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, presided over by Judge Robert I.H. Hammerman, convicted appellant, Kenneth E. Mack, of (premeditated) murder in the first degree, robbery with a dangerous and deadly weapon, and two counts of use of a handgun in a crime of violence. Appellant was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder conviction, fifteen years for the robbery with a dangerous and deadly weapon and fifteen years each for the two handgun...
