GREGORY, Justice:

Appellant Frank Middleton, Jr., was indicted separately for two counts of murder and criminal sexual conduct, and one count of attempted armed robbery, aggravated assault, and aggravated assault and battery. Over appellant's objection, the cases were consolidated for trial. A jury found Middleton guilty of all charges, and he was sentenced to death. This appeal followed. We reverse and remand...
