Riddle executed a promissory note dated December 30, 1982, for $7,500 in favor of the Camps. The face of the printed note read in pertinent part: "Five years (see reverse side) after date I promise to pay Camp[s], or order SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO 100 Dollars . . . for value received, with interest from date at 10% per cent per annum, payable annually, . . ."1 On the reverse...
