Capitol City Lodge No. 141, Fraternal Order of Police, Non-Supervisory Division (the union) represents a collective bargaining unit which includes Ingham County jail security officers. When contract negotiations between the union and the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the Ingham County Sheriff (the county) failed to result in resolution of disputed matters, the union filed with the Michigan Employment Relations Commission a petition for arbitration...
