FACTS

Appellant Frederick J. Haberle was admitted to graduate school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in July, 1979, to pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry. The requirements to obtain that degree are set out in a document entitled "Requirements for Degree in Chemistry." Generally it shows that the requirements for a Ph.D. in chemistry are completion of course work...
