OPINION

ALARID, Judge.

Defendant appeals from his convictions for homicide by vehicle and driving while intoxicated. NMSA 1978, §§ 66-8-101 and -102 (Cum.Supp.1986). We affirm. We address each of defendant's appellate issues below.
