The appellant, Robert Dean Palmer, was charged in Oklahoma County District Court, Case No. CRF-82-984, with Murder in the First Degree in violation of 21 O.S. 1981, § 701.7(A). The jury returned a verdict of guilty of the lesser included offense of Manslaughter in the First Degree but was unable to reach an agreement regarding punishment...
